I just saw this, i can't wait to show it to my son.  I am trying to convince him to start side car racing with me.  He is a little reluctant for some reason... He would be a good rider, scrawny, quick, and limber.  Just gotta convince him, this pic should do it.

Yup, your son would be your best bet as there is only one active member in our club who might fit the description "scrawny, quick, and limber" and I am not so sure he would be up for it!

Maybe another style to help convince the young 'un to jump on the chair.
I did a limited amount of sidecar racing in my much younger days as a passenger for a workmate who made every part for the outfit.
It packed a big bore Norton Atlas engine and the rest was built by hand and lathe including brakes, this was in the early days of disc brakes when they were converted from car parts.
What a hoot, them were the days.
