I decided that I'm going to get at least one more season out of the Blue Meanie, so new tyres are in order.  Boy, have prices gone up.  Last time out, I used Pete's Superbike and bought the Dunlops it has on now.  Good tyres, but really fast wearing.  So, it's back to Michelins.  Pete's price sounded good, except he charges shipping by the tire, so the price ends up being a wash with Fortnine.  GPBikes are charging full retail for the tyre's I want.... $460 rear tyre... no thanks.. More searching got me to Revco.ca .  Searched some reviews, then searched some forums and they have a good reputation other than slow shipping, but what isn't these days.  Their price was a little less than Fortnine, but they never tagged me for PST and for the BC Tyre Levy, so that was $50 saved.

Hello Hans -  I've gone with fortnine in Edmonton and was pleasantly surprised a the prices and the low delivery costs. Might want to give them a try if you haven't already.

I second the vote for fortune.  they have great return policy and good selection. 

Also.....my buddy davinder just bought the Rabaconda tire changing stand/tool (600$).  the awesome catch is he doesn't own a shop or garage so It lives at my place.  I strongly suggest that the club buys one and charges members a low fee to use it.  it is the best and easiest tire change I have ever done!!!!!!! I changed my stiff nasty desert racing rubber off of the big KTM in like half an hour start to finish.  Anyways I know 600$ tool was not going to be in my budget and likely out of price range for most individuals but between the club when you consider the price of paying for a change over (either skinned knuckles or the 50$s at the local shop)i would recommend a group purchase

So, the tyres I ordered from Revco on Monday evening arrived today by Loomis, 3 days, can't complain.  They shipped from the Kimco Warehouse in Calgary. 

So, from Revco, Tyres were cheaper, shipping was free, no PST, and No BC Tyre Levy.

Give them a look next time.
