A Wonderful Response For Multi-Bike Owners
« on: June 07, 2021, 07:46:30 AM »
From a K100 Forum (Two Wheels Better):
"When people - usually non-motorcyclists, but surprisingly many riders too - attempt to corner me with "why do you own so many...you can't ride them all at once" I reply with logic & passion. "You have books at home in your library?" "Yes" "You aren't reading them all at once. They all have a different story to tell"."

Other guy: how many motorcycles do you have?
Me: five, six if you count the boy's. ICBC loves me.
Other guy: you have an expensive hobby...
Me: yeah, says the guy who owns a boat.
Other guy: mumble, grumble....
I live with fear and danger everyday, but sometimes I leave her at home and go motorcycling.

Bikes are like good shoes.  You can't have too many and they all have different purposes.
Why be normal?

The correct number of motorcycles that a multi bike owner should own can be calculated with the following formula

     C=N+1 whereas

     C=the correct number of bikes that one should own
     N=the number of bikes currently owned.

QED.
