The correct number of bikes that an enthusiast should own
« on: November 20, 2019, 09:31:06 PM »
Here is the mathematical formula that is used to calculate how many bikes an enthusiast should own.  As follows:
  • The formula is B=N+1
  • B = the number of bikes that you should own
  • N = the number of bikes that you currently own

Right but you also need to pay attention to the Y and X factor - Y is the possibility your spouse will walk into the garage one day and actually count your machines and start asking questions.  X is the possibility that adding one more bike to the mix without his/her knowing and approving will make that spouse an 'X'.

Also - there is a risk that too many machines on the go at one time may result in a decline of XXXX.
Why be normal?

Similar to Steve's is the equation written as s-1, where s is the number of bikes owned that would result in separation from your partner.
