Title: Amateur vs. Professional

There are some things an amateur painter like me can do that a professional like Stuntman Fubar (Dave) can't.

I can skip bondo and glaze, spray bomb high build primer outside in windy conditions, let it build up rather than sand between coats, not let it dry more than 10 minutes before spraying on $9 gloss black from a spray bomb in the same windy conditions, tolerate a few runs and thin spots, and say "good enough for that customer."

My new front tire expanded, blistered the paint on my fender.  A few passes with the palm sander and some clear coat was all it needed to stop any rust.  I now have some abstract art on that fender that would rival some 'professional' artists.  Amateur is easy and fun.

Put new seals in. You might regret it if don't for a few lousy bucks. That is one dogs opinion.
